fish teapoy

Evoking a Victorian era in India, Bent’s teapoy is at your service. Elegant standalone sculptural pieces, these four-legged teapoys are for those who love sophistication and grace. Is this your cuppa tea?

Misspelt form of the Hindi word Teen Pai – a table with three legs. By erroneous association with the word teait has also come to be known as a low table used for serving tea and coffee.

The Fish Teapoy is a reinvention of this colonial furniture concept, using unique leg joinery that sneaks up on the top surface with fish-shaped wedges locking it in place. The joinery makes this minimalist Teapoy extremely sturdy and lends it a rustic chic personality.
